GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP:
What is global citizenship?
Global citizenship is a term used to describe and outline the rights, privileges, responsibilities and freedoms of people on this planet. It includes diversity, conflict resolution, social awareness, open mindedness and critical thinking amongst people. Regardless of our race, language, religion and status, we all have a role to play on Mother earth. Together we can brainstorm ideas to help us live in peace.
SUSTAINABILITY:
We are very much aware that the world keeps changing and evolving. Thanks totechnology, we now have access to various resources like computers, cars, internet, dishwashers and other things that makes life easier. At the same time, there are a lot of negative effects on the world like pollution, extinction of certain species which is not very great. And so we need to come together as citizens to combat these negative effects to make the world a better place. We can do so by recycling, planting more trees, cleaning the ocean and educating other people on how to keep the earth clean.
INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION:
There are over 7000 languages in the world. I obviously can’t list them all. Basically, there are a lot of ways to express yourself through the many languages in the world. Intercultural communication aims to bridge gaps in understanding and foster effective interactions across diverse cultures. I believe that the various cultures in the world have different ways of expressing themselves so we should all be open minded and ready to learn about other cultures.
Very thoughtful Rene! I think with communication there are many other unseen aspects to consider – body language, facial expressions. Interesting how we like conveniences but they contribute to environmental issues. Well done!
