We all know that we live on Earth right? What if because of language barriers we stirrup conflicts? What if due to conflicts we destroy the Earth and have no where else to go? What if to get minerals like gold or diamonds or oil we end up drilling too deep exposing the Earth’s core?

Obviously these are everyday problems which have counter effects. However there is one main solution to all these. That is by embracing Global Citizenship. Global Citizenship according to Wikipedia is the idea that one’s identity defies territory or political borders and that responsibilities or rights stem from membership in a larger global class of human beings.

Global Citizenship brings about the idea that regardless of a person race, gender, religion, job, caste etc. we’re all members of planet earth and must treat each other equally to ensure the continuity of the Earth. To fully embrace the idea of Global Citizenship we must get involved in ways to sustain the Earth and prevent environmental and social degradation through intercultural communication.
